Evolution.....Not!!

When we claimed to have reach the moon and advanced proudly through evolution, human remain one of the most complexed, silly living things at times. Yesterday rumours and SMS spread like nobody's business about the hike in fuel prices. How did we Asians react? It was so bad it turned ludicrous.

I was driving home from work at about 9:30PM, after a long, hectic day at the office. And what did I get? As soon as I left the office building, I was welcomed by a huge fleet of cars, inching really slowly against each other. I thought to myself, this better not be due to the hike in fuel prices, you silly Malaysians. After like being in the jam for half an hour, I got my answer. Cars were trying to squeeze their way into the petrol stations! Throughout the whole journey I took from KL to PJ, the traffic will slow down terribly whenever we approached every station. Oh my god, I did not just finish a tiring day at work just to experience this, an obnoxious traffic jam caused by all these bl**dy senseless human beings. From the way it looked with the queue, each car would have to wait for at least half an hour before they could even reach the stations. I was screaming to myself, I just don't get it. They'd probably save like what, RM20-35?? Capital O-M-G.....Then I heard the radio DJ announced that the rival bids among magazines to get hold of the first pics of Brad Pitt & Angelina Jolie's twins have reached 7.5 million pounds! Wow, those Americans are not that far away either from this vicious cycle of KIASU'ism. Pure atrocity. Although we know Brad/Angelina would most probably give the money away to charity, just like the previous case, but why go into this in the first place? Pay a ridiculous price just to get hold of some pics of some babies, which we know for a fact their pics will be all over the magazines in 1-2 months to come anyway. And the best part is, we pushed Brad/Angelina's fame soaring high for no reason, plus giving them such huge credit for being so charitable, in giving away the money that was not even worth giving them in the first place . Hmmm...it really puzzles me.
